April is Stress Awareness Month, and in honor of this, the Employee Engagement Team at JES is hosting events throughout the month of April to help reduce stress and promote wellness around the office. Events will include:
Thursday, April 20: Meditation
Meditation is a simple way to relax while staying mindful and productive, a recent set of studies published in Applied Psychology linked meditation to greater job satisfaction and lower mental fatigue and emotional exhaustion.
Thursday, April 27: Desk Cleanup & Declutter Day
Decluttering your space can help you feel more focused and can help streamline your processes. Consider this organization tip from designer William Morris: “Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.” The rule of thumb holds true at the office, too!
