Each December, JES employees dedicate an entire week to raise money for the United Way Campaign. The annual fundraising event for 2012 began on Monday, December 3rd with an employee kick-off breakfast with representatives from the Heart of Missouri United Way. Mitzi Clayton, 2012 Community Campaign Chair, and Tim Rich, the Executive Director/Chief Professional Office, shared how the organization is involved in the community, as well as inspirational stories of what the United Way can do to help those in need. The morning gathering allowed employees to learn more about the cause and how even the smallest actions make a difference. In 2011, the JES employees had 100% participation in the United Way campaign.
An exciting week of activities has been planned to raise funds and support team building in the office. Following the kick-off breakfast, bingo cards went on sale for “Email Bingo”. The game will carry on throughout the week and will allow for several winners! Employees are excited for a fun week of activities in support of a great cause.
