Thursday September 17th, JES Holdings was a contributing sponsor for the annual Hoops for a Cause benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Columbia. The event was hosted by Missouri Basketball head coach, Kim Anderson and brought in more than 450 attendees who raised more than $155,000. The event took place on the Norm Stewart Court at Mizzou Arena and featured a live auction. The impressive collection of donated items included autographed St. Louis Cardinals memorabilia and all-inclusive vacations. In-between live auction items guests were able to hear from local club members who were joined by current Mizzou Tiger Men’s and Women’s basketball team players

JES Holdings employees that attended were Dana Patrick, Adam Voight, Ryan Stevens, Eric Keith and Blair Jones. Dana Patrick serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club and Adam Voight serves on their Marketing Committee. “After spending some time volunteering with the Boys & Girls Club this summer I decided I wanted to get more involved with the local chapter… I was honored they asked me to join their Marketing Committee and part of that is helping photograph events such as this. I am incredibly impressed by how our community came together to support such a wonderful organization.”

Since 1967, the Boys & Girls Club of Columbia has been providing a safe place for children to learn and grow.  The Club now serves over 600 kids at four sites within the Columbia region.  The Club is open during hours that kids are most likely to need a safe place to go — after school and during summer.
