On Saturday, April 20th, the JES Holdings Sharp Striders participated in the 2013 Great Strides Walk benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Each year, more than 250,000 walkers come together across the United States to support the cause. Nearly $40 million was raised in 2012 to help support life-saving research, quality care, and education programs.
This particular walk holds personal significance to JES employees. The team walks in memory of Michelle Sharp, an asset manager for Affordable Equity Partners, who passed away in 2008. Prior to her death, Michelle was very active in CF awareness, in support of her husband who has CF. The Sharp Striders have participated in the Great Strides Walk for the last six years and will continue to walk each year in memory of Michelle.
