2022 Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbia Chili Cookoff

The following JES Holdings employees accept awards at the Boys & Girls Clubs Chili Cookoff: Nicole Bunte, Alana Perkins, Edith Kelley, Becki Wells, Shannon Stevens and Mark Bradshaw.

The annual Rootin’ Tootin’ Chili Cookoff benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbia had its sixteenth annual cookoff on Saturday, March 5, 2022. Every year, companies from around Columbia, Missouri compete to see who can make the best chili and raise the most money for the organization.

JES Holdings was the presenting sponsor for the event and had a group of company employees participate in the event.

This year, JES Holdings’ theme was based on the Candyland board game. Employees dressed as characters from the game and spent the day cooking chili, interacting with crowds and handing out candy to help bring in more money for the Boys & Girls Clubs.

The cookoff was a large success! JES Holdings raised over $2,000 and received awards for best in showmanship, best booth, second best costumes and third biggest bowl (largest amount of money raised).
