The seventeenth annual Rootin’ Tootin’ Chili Cookoff benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbia was hosted on Saturday, February 25, 2023. Companies from across Columbia, Missouri, set up themed booths and organized family-friendly games and raffles, all in a friendly competition to determine who could make the best chili and raise the most money for the organization.
This year’s booth was nothing short of a masterpiece! Our painting-themed booth featured three massive canvases that were designed by the Boys & Girls Clubs kids. Attendees were invited into the booth to contribute their artistic touch to the paintings before we donated them to the Boys & Girls Clubs.
We rocked this year’s cookoff, raising almost $3,000! JES received awards for having the best booth and being first in showmanship. Additionally, we were named third for the Biggest Bowl award (the award for the most amount of money raised).
