Today a second group of 28 employees visited the Food Bank to volunteer. The team was able to fill over 2,500 bags of pretzels in a two hour time span. The bags will eventually be distributed to families in the Central and Northeast Missouri Area. Employees were excited to lend a helping hand with a little friendly competition with the first group to volunteer. Together the JES employees helped coordinate over 11,000 pounds of food for The Food Bank!
Afternoon activities at JES included happy hour and games in the office break room. An intense Wii Just Dance competition was held in addition to our very own “JES Chopped” competition. All proceeds from beverages and game entry fees went directly to the United Way fundraising efforts. Another day of fun and philanthropy for United Way Week!
