JES United Way Week 2012 has come to a close, and we went out with a bang! Today’s activities included a chili lunch, jean day and a raffle drawing for a number of great prizes! Our team gathered for a delicious chili lunch and raffle, which included prizes ranging from a Wii U and a Nook tablet to gift cards, Tumi bags and holiday hams. All employees turning in their pledge cards were eligible for raffle tickets for the drawing. The proceeds from jean day and the chili lunch were the final monetary contributions to our fundraising efforts.
Jeff Smith graciously matched the full amount of funds raised throughout the week by the employees. After all of the fundraising activities and pledges, JES is proud to announce our team has raised a total of $33,137.77. We loved every minute of the fundraisers and enjoyed helping to make a difference in the community. The bar has been set high for next year’s United Way Week!
