Recently, Steering Committee members Michael and Rosemary Porter visited The Village of Bedford Walk during the community’s happy hour. Michael Porter, retired Chair of the Department of Communication from the University of Missouri, played the piano for the residents while Rosemary Porter, retired Dean Emerita of the Sinclair School of Nursing, chatted with the residents.
The Village of Bedford Walk residents enjoyed visiting with the Porters and listening to the live music. As members of the Steering Committee, the Porters have watched The Village of Bedford Walk grow from a dream to a reality.
