Independence Day and Resident Appreciation Party at Park Place in Carrollton

On Friday, July 1, Park Place in Carrollton celebrated Independence Day with a Resident Appreciation Party in the Community Club House. “I wanted to do something for the residents that had already moved in so I came up with a combo of celebrating the residents and Independence Day together,” said property manager Anna League. “It started with just refreshments and has grown every year, this year being the biggest and best! I had residents come up to me after it was over and they were hugging me and saying it was a wonderful time.” This year’s celebration featured barbecue with all the fixings and an Elvis impersonator provided the entertainment. “I feel it benefited the residents by showing that we really care about them, and want them to feel great and appreciated, but mostly to feel proud of where they live,” said League.
