AEP and Charitable Partnerships Assist Atlanta Habitat for Humanity

Atlanta Habitat for Humanity partners with working families, sponsors, and communities to build affordable, green, quality homes and to provide support services that promote successful home purchase and ownership. Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, one of more than 1,500 U.S. affiliates of Habitat for Humanity International, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to homeownership for working families. Since 1983, volunteers from corporations, from faith-based and civic organizations have worked in partnership with qualified homebuyers to construct affordable, green, quality homes, which are purchased through no-interest mortgages. To date, Atlanta Habitat has built more than 1,250 homes in the greater Atlanta area.

Representatives from Affordable Equity Partners, The Mission Continues 1st Service Platoon and the Wounded Warrior Project recently partnered with Habitat for Humanity to assist with renovations to a home in Atlanta, GA. AEP volunteers included Kerry Eales, Manny Baza, Tom Whritenour, Jill Collins and Charlene Johnson. This service project included landscaping, painting, siding and demolition work.
