On Friday, July 28, JES Holdings employees volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club of Columbia’s Farm Day. The Farm Day event is a day for the children to head outside and partake in fun and safe activities on a local farm. This year’s Farm Day included an obstacle course, archery, fishing, ATV rides and a giant slip ‘n’ slide. The children and volunteers were even treated to a lunch of barbeque, fried fish and a snow cone truck.
Jeffrey E. Smith, President of JES Holdings, has been a longtime supporter of the Boys and Girls Club of Columbia and their mission to provide a safe and educational place for youth to grow and learn. Throughout the year, JES Holdings and its affiliate companies raise money and participate in different volunteering events to benefit the club.
The kids were all smiles as they spent the day enjoying the different activities. The JES Holdings employees were very thankful to get the chance to help the day run smoothly!
