(Las Vegas, NV) – During the last week of June, Camila Gumati, Recruiter and Jordan Bova, HR Coordinator, proudly represented the Human Resources department of JES Holdings at the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM)’ 67th Annual Conference & Exposition.
Gumati and Bova attended multiple sessions covering a multitude of HR topics and managed to see 13 of the 15 speakers – all in the space of four days! Keynote Speakers at this year’s conference included:
- Mike “Coach K” Krzyzewski, head men’s basketball coach of Duke University
- Marcus Buckingham, Founder of TMBC,
- Mika Brzezinski, Talk Show Host of MSNBC’s weekday morning broadcast
- Mehmet Oz, Medical Expert and TV Host,
There was an amazing evening performance featuring Jennifer Hudson.
The honor of the opening keynote speech went to “Coach K” and as the head basketball coach of the men’s team at Duke University, he knows a lot about teamwork. His speech focused on inspiring teamwork and leadership in the office like he did on the basketball court. Working together and inspiring others to do better resulted in great returns.
