On Tuesday, September 26, 2017, JES Holdings employees attended the MFA Oil Hoops for a Cause benefitting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbia.
The night featured the University of Missouri head basketball coaches, Cuonzo Martin and Robin Pingeton, as well as the basketball teams at the Mizzou Arena. Over 500 people attended to help raise money and learn more about the Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbia.
“It was such a pleasure to attend Hoops for a Cause and have the opportunity to talk with Missouri Basketball Players and Boys & Girls Club kids. Our favorite part of the evening was hearing the Club kids talk about their favorite activities at the Club. Many of them are overjoyed with the newly built gymnasium and are really looking forward to fine tuning their basketball skills during their gym time!” said Blair Jones, who serves as the JES Holdings representative on The Boys & Girls Club Board.
The night was a success as the attendees were able to raise money for the club, meet the children that the club helps and get excited for the Mizzou basketball season
