Parkview Place Apartment residents recently participated in an environmental wellness project by creating their own garden. Not only did they have fun planting their garden and orchestrating a garden grand opening ceremony, they also enjoyed making their community a better place. The residents worked together to plant tomatoes, bell peppers, zucchini, sage, dill, basil and rosemary in their community planter box and were successful in making a beautiful garden that will give them fresh produce and herbs throughout the coming months. Along with filling their community planting box, the residents continued their environmental wellness activities by painting flower pots and then planting flowers in their own personalized pots. After all of the residents finished painting and filling their pots, they were able to display their pots throughout Parkview Place Apartments for the rest of the community to see.
