Today’s major activity was a JES Scavenger Hunt where employees received clues via email, every hour on the hour. Eight emails were sent with a riddle and an “item of the hour” for employees to search for around their workspace. The first employee to bring the “item of the hour” to the designated United Way committee member received their choice of a gift card from various businesses. There were some tough items, but in the end, eight of our hunters are heading home winners.
After lunch, the notorious JES Treat Trolley featured yummy ice cream for afternoon snacking. Employees enjoyed delicious treats while waiting for the final Scavenger Hunt clues for the day. The proceeds from the entry fees for the hunt and ice cream sales went directly to the fundraising efforts for the week. As of today, JES employees have raised $27,684.49. One more day of activities and pledges left to reach our goal of $40,000 for United Way!
