Tigers on Wall Street

On October 19th, top students from the Robert J. Trulaske Sr. College of Business at the University of Missouri traveled to Wall Street as part of an annual five-day trip to New York City. After three months of preparation, students met with senior executives at AIG, Barclays, Goldman Sachs, Mitsubishi, Pimm Fox of Bloomberg, Stifel and Deutsche Bank.  Students also had the opportunity to job shadow influential business leaders at companies such as JP Morgan and Deloitte.  An alumni dinner was held Wednesday, October 21st at the University Club.  The purpose of this dinner is to provide a networking opportunity for students with Mizzou alumn living and working in New York City.

Jeffrey E. Smith, President of JES Holdings, has underwritten the Mizzou Tigers on Wall Street event for the last seven years.  The curriculum and experience is coordinated by Harvey Eisen, a graduate of the University of Missouri and Chairman, CEO and Director of Wright Investors’ Service Holdings, Inc.  Mr. Eisen has been a member of the JES Advisory Board since 2002. Both men are passionate in providing students with real life experiences.  Tigers on Wall Street is one of the ways that the Jeffrey E. Smith Institute of Real Estate fulfills its mission to provide educational opportunities in real estate and finance.
