On Saturday, June 24, Affordable Equity Partners, a JES Holdings affiliate company, hosted a volleyball tournament to benefit The Sturge-Weber Foundation. The tournament was held at the Deuce Pub & Pit and included nine different teams competing for the winning prize of a $50 Visa Gift Card per player and a set of two appetizers and drinks for the team.
Sturge-Weber Syndrome is a congenital disorder that often manifests in a facial birthmark and neurological abnormalities. Affordable Equity Partners became passionate about the cause through a business associate and friend, whose son Ryan was born with Sturge-Weber Syndrome. Learn more about Ryan’s story here.
Not only was the day full of friendly competition, but the tournament ended up raising $850 for The Sturge-Weber Foundation!
